The third song I'm studying is Hey Hey by Eric Clapton:

Fingerpicking

Fingerpicking (or fingerstyle) is a technique used to play guitar, bass or other string instruments, executed using finger tips or nails instead of plectrum.
This is the major technique in Delta blues and in Unplugged blues.

Delta blues

The Delta Blues is one of the first blues music style born between Twenties and Thirties. Delta Blues takes its name by the Mississippi Delta, a US region which extend from Memphis, Tennessee in the north, to Vicksburg, Mississippi in the south, with Mississippi on west, and Yazoo River on east.
Major delta blues instruments are acoustic guitar and harmonic.

Unplugged blues

So, what "Unplugged blues" means?
Unplugged blues (and in general unplugged music) is the blues recorded or played with acoustic instruments and not with amplified instruments.
More particulary, the original blues IS unplugged and this kind of blues is the delta blues.
